This Murano glass charm, engraved with ”Lake Louise”, is the true colour of alpine lakes. The lakes are turquoise due to glacial silt deposits entering the meltwater from years of erosion. The sediment is light in color and stays suspended in the mountain lake waters, creating the milky-blue waters you see at Lake Louise.
